A Game Without Any Do-Overs

You can’t chase after worldly treasures, regret how you lived your life, and then try to buy yourself happiness and peace with money at the end.

When we draw our last breath, there’s no “Do Over” in life.

Let’s say you became a famous celebrity, a rich executive or achieved the success you always wanted.  The question that Jesus asks in the end is, so what?  You lose your life, you forfeit your life.

God understands that within our hearts, the greatest competition He has for our allegiance is our pocketbooks.

If worldly success is your biggest passion, you’re going to sacrifice the journey you could have had with God.  Are you willing to lose your soul in the process of chasing after toys and treasures?

We all want a life of joy and satisfaction.  The challenge is that we’re on the wrong path to get to it.  God offers us a different path that actually leads to that life, but it takes us down a trail that most of us would assume is foolish.   But when we are willing to give up our false hopes and dreams, that’s when we discover what real life is meant to be with and through God.

Which path are you on?  Choose the right one, because you really only get one shot at this.
