Many people do. In an attempt to satisfy this thirst, this hunger on the inside, we chase after money, success, beauty and fame. But if you think about it, you’ll realize that these things are not the ultimate ends we’re really after. They’re only what many people believe are the means for the ultimate ends we really want, what we really need.
Many people believe the way to get these things is to become successful, drive a nice car, and look beautiful while making a big splash with the right crowd.
There’s a part of us that can not be satisfied no matter how beautiful the car is, no matter how big the house is, and no matter how fat the bank account is. None of that stuff can satisfy us in the end.
No matter how hard we chase after the so-called best things in this life, they always seem to elude our grasp. They always seem to be just beyond the reach of our fingertips.
