No matter how much money, power, sex, or success we experience, it is never enough to satisfy the deepest longings of our souls. We were made for more than the trinkets and treasures, the toys and the pleasures this life has to offer. We were made to find our ultimate satisfaction in Christ.

In John 7, Scripture says, “Jesus stood up and cried out, ‘If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”

That is the promise He makes. That is the offer He extends. The opportunity to have our souls fully and finally satisfied in Him.
